SHANGHAI VENTURE (10) found plenty to score by 2 lengths three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at her last two starts. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. DEEP SECRET (11) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth in a 5f contest at Ballarat a week-and-a-half ago after being in contention on the corner. Has the talent to produce a better result. CATALINA BLACK CAT (2) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 5½f at Tatura. Well placed and is among the chances. SUZIDO (8) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing third last time over 5½f at Hamilton. Finds a suitable race and can play a big role.
