ABDICATION (3) stepped out on his debut over 5f122yards at Benalla two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished seventh, beaten 5 lengths. Fitter and with the blinkers on he makes considerable appeal. CELEBRATION (9) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Echuca, beaten 2.75 lengths. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. LONELY ONE (10) is back from a break of six-and-a-half months. Raced twice in her maiden campaign and wasn't far away on either occasion including the last run when second over 6f at Swan Hill. Sure to have come on over the break and is a leading contender. LAST APPLE (6) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4f190yards at Swan Hill, beaten 3 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
