SECOND GUESS (3) will appreciate the longer journey after finishing a solid fourth when resuming last start over 6½f at Alexandra. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to hold out. PINE VALLEY (2) is a 25-start maiden finding who is knocking on the door, the last run a commendable third at Yea over 1m. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SUNNY SEWELL (4) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 6½f at Alexandra. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. JOYAS (6) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 7f152yards at Alexandra. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
