FIRST ACT (5) has accrued three minor placings from three runs this campaign. Turned in another good performance last time out when third over 5f at Belterra Park (Turf) after he was handy all the way. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PREDECESSOR (3) settled well back last start and never threatened when 16 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m at Thistledown (Dirt). Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. MAAM CROSS (2) was in contention on the turn and finished third last start over 6f at Thistledown (Dirt) when she did her best work late, beaten 10 lengths. This is a nice drop in grade so she is sure to be prominent. INTERVAL (6) could only manage to finish fourth, beaten 7 lengths, at his latest appearance over 5½f at Thistledown (Dirt). This looks a nice race so expect him to finish closer.
