FIERCE ASSAULT (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 1m1/2f at Turfway Park (Synthetic) after being in contention on the bend. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. BAILAMOS (7) was safely held when sixth last time out over 7f at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at Delaware Park at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BUEHLER'S DAY OFF (2) settled well back last start and made little impact in the straight when sixth, beaten 14 lengths, over this journey at this track (Dirt). Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. MEXITEXAFORNIA (5) was a gutsy winner in a then finished fourth over 5½f at this track (Dirt) on November 25. Can bounce back to winning form.
