CHESS NOT CHECKERS (4) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third at Thistledown (Dirt) over 5½f. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Best figures should see her run well. BLAZING ZENNA (3) missed the frame last time when fourth at Thistledown. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. E Paucar stays aboard. Should be hard to stop. GENERAL GINNY (5) ran below expectations last time at Belterra Park (Dirt), finishing eighth and beaten 10 lengths starting at 5/1. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. Set Weights EET BELEN (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 20 lengths away in seventh over 5½f at Thistledown. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
