GILLIGAN (3) turned things around last start and landed the prize by one length over 6f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. NICHOLAS JAMES (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MONTAUK COVE (2) has not raced since he finished off last campaign with a strong win over 5½f at this track (Dirt) nine weeks ago. Form here at the trip is sound with four wins and two minor placings from seven runs. Has claims on his best efforts. KOSCIUSZKO (5) was prominent at the corner and finished second last time over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten one length. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again.
