JC DOUBLE SHOTT (5) finished third last time out over this course and distance, travelling towards the tail before winding up strongly in the final stages. Should run on into the finish again. SS CAPTAIN KIRK (6) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 3f213yards at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. MR E VISION (1) is a 20-start maiden but does look to be edging towards a win, the latest effort an encouraging second at this track (Dirt) over 3f213yards after being prominent at the corner. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can win if at his best. TRAVYEZA (2) resumed five weeks ago over 1f180yards at this track and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth. Fitter so a likely improver.
