KEEP UP THE PACE (4) is a three-start maiden who finished fifth at his most recent outing over 5½f at this track (Dirt) after he was well back on straightening. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. UNINSPIRED (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 9 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at this track two weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. DEFTLY DONE (10) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished eighth over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Turf), beaten 9 lengths. Can feature in the finish. MAXIMUM GRACE (6) failed to threaten at his first outing last time out, finishing ninth over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Should appreciate the extra ground this time. Worth another chance with race experience now in the locker.
