HELAIRE (7) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 7f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. THE THIMBLE (5) fought on well for third last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Has a solid record here at the distance with two wins and five placings from nine tries. One of the main contenders. BOULDERING (2) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 5½f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Hard to leave out.
