HOLDEN THE LUTE (8) is back from a lay-off of four months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1m at Turf Paradise (Dirt). Capable of playing a major role. FREEDOM FACTOR (4) did a great job to score by 11 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. CHIEF ALPHA (1) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 7½f at this track (Turf), scoring by half a length. Will be better for that latest run and is among the leading chances. KID SHELLEEN (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.25 lengths over 7½f at this track (Turf). Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
