GUITARTUITION PLZZ (2) finished eighth over 1m at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on April 12. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SPARKIN (5) was only 0.3 lengths away last time when second over 5f at this track (Dirt) after he was up on the pace all the way. Won at his only start at this longer journey. Right in the mix. SMARTY ALEX (8) showed little early speed and was always well back last start when eighth, beaten 10 lengths, over this journey at this track (Turf). Alexander Castillo gets the best out of this seven-year-old gelding. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards. ANDIAMO GIACOMO (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/4f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
