MAGIC WANDERER (3) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1.75 lengths back in second over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is perfectly placed to score. FALABELLA (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 4½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GALWAY SHAWL (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 4½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Won't find this as tough so she is sure to be right there at the finish. CASILLALATER (4) finished 2.5 lengths behind the winner in third over 4½f at this track (Dirt) last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Change of rider to Hugo Herrera who has an excellent strike rate when in the saddle, including two wins. Can play a role in the finish.
