MR DREAMCYCLE (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 10 lengths when fifth in a 5½f contest at Los Alamitos four weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. DARK MARCUS (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 6f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) after being in contention on the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. STREET TALKER (4) has strung together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on December 21 over 4f124yards when he scored by 1.3 lengths. Winning rider Adrian Escobedo retains the mount. Nicely placed to take this out. CHISPA ROJA (5) has been in good form, stringing wins together before placing twice in a row, most recently when second over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt). Well placed to figure prominently again.
