PATSY MONTANA (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at Pleasanton (Dirt) over 5½f, beaten 0.8 lengths. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and three minor placings from six starts. Should be hard to stop. STAY ZAPPY (4) finished out of the money two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when fourth in a 4f124yards contest at this track four weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. GALWAY SHAWL (6) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at Pleasanton (Dirt) with success over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) four weeks ago, getting home by 0.1 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. MY BEST GIFT (1) was beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 4f124yards at this track last time out. No surprise to see her in contention.
