WESTERN GRIT (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only 0.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 4f124yards after being prominent at the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. STREET TALKER (7) won his maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 4 lengths. Winning rider Adrian Escobedo stays aboard and he cannot be discounted. SIX HOT GRANDS (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Pleasanton (Dirt), finishing third and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f after being in the firing line on the corner. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. REMI OR NOT (8) turned in a fine effort to win by 4.5 lengths at this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
