BILLBERNJOEJOHNICK (4) hasn't raced since finishing seventh over 5f at Del Mar (Turf) on July 28 and has since switched yards. Generally runs well when fresh, recording three minor placings from four runs. Ready for a bold showing. G G GILLEY (1) returned last time with a solid third at Pleasanton (Dirt) over 5½f after being in the firing line on the corner. This is a suitable assignment and can take this out. NIGHTBIRDE IT'S OK (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.75 lengths when fourth in a 4f124yards contest at this track two weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SPEED OF THE NILE (2) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 7f at Del Mar (Dirt). Solid top-three hope.
