SET THE EDGE (8) is a four-start maiden who finished fifth at his most recent outing over 1f130yards at this track (Dirt). This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. CHARLEE CLAIR (7) found a couple marginally better when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1f80yards at this track (Dirt) after being prominent throughout. Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. BORN IN THE BLOOD (2) won narrowly by 0.8 lengths two runs back at this track (Dirt) then missed the frame last time at this track (Dirt). Gets a little weight relief. Can atone here. AJ FLAWLESS (5) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1f80yards at this track (Dirt), scoring by half a length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again.
