JOHNNY DRAMA (4) held on well to finish third when when resuming from a break last time out over 6½f at Santa Anita (Turf) after leading for much of the way. Sure to go well. MOBE TOWN (1) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Santa Anita (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 4 lengths as favourite last time out over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. SMOKEM EZ (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt) after he settled well back. Has further improvement to come and is a key runner. CRYPTO CRAZE (3) raced on the pace over 5½f at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to win by 0.8 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with two wins from five starts. One of the fringe hopes.
