TAPALO (1) went fast early and kicked strongly to score over 7f at Listed level at Santa Anita (Dirt) last time. Can push forward again here and should prove tough to beat. CURLIN'S KAOS (5) tackled in a Listed Race last time on turf when a 1.5 lengths seventh over 1m1f at Santa Anita. That came on the back of a win on turf at Santa Anita the run prior. Nice class drop this time. Major player. CORNELL (2) resumed last start over 1m1/2f in stakes class at Santa Anita (Dirt) and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 8 lengths. Will find this much easier. Well placed and is one of the main contenders. Group 2 winner WYNSTOCK (3) missed the frame when resuming two runs ago on dirt when sixth over 1m1f at Santa Anita. Moderate effort last start on turf when unplaced over 6½f at Santa Anita. Nice class drop this time. Well placed and expected to measure up. Among the top-three hopes.
