SPOT D' ORO (1) finished third at Santa Anita two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m at Santa Anita (Turf), finishing 17 lengths back in tenth. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. SPEED OF THE NILE (6) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 19 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Finds the right race and is worth consideration.
