GRITTY GIRL (4) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Turned in a fair effort at Santa Anita (Turf) over 5f at her only run last prep, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Expect her to pose a serious challenge. CHEVY GIRL (2) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by half a length over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) last time out. Ricardo S Ramirez who has two wins when partnering stays on. Leading contender. SQUARE TOMATOES (3) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth in a 4f124yards contest at this track eight weeks ago. The engagement of Edgar Payeras is noteworthy. This is a nice drop in grade so she is perfectly placed to score. DANCING BONBON (1) recorded another minor placing last time out, finishing 1.4 lengths away in third over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt). Well placed and will be thereabouts again.
