Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from six starts and is sure to go well. DR TROUTMAN (5) had been racing consistently with two minor placings on end prior to finishing fourth most recently over 5½f at Los Alamitos. Back to the track at which he finished third two runs back. Has been in the money four times over this course and distance. Expected to be in the finish. MCWHERTER (6) finished third over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on August 27. One to consider. ECHO ALPHA SIX (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 5½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) after he was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
