TANGLEDUPINGREY (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Santa Anita (Dirt), finishing second and only 0.8 lengths from the winner at the end of 5½f. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. WESTCOAST GANGSTER (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 4f124yards at this track. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. RUN SNAPPY (2) resumes in a similar race to his last run three months ago when second, beaten half a length. One to consider. SOUL OF MIDNIGHT (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 2 lengths away in fifth over 4f124yards at this track. No surprise to see him in contention.
