Big chance to break through. POPPIN (11) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1½f at Retama Park after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. GEORG (3) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1f180yards at Retama Park (Dirt). Finds the right race and is worth consideration. KERRY OAKIE (2) is a three-start maiden who missed the frame when resuming but has improved in subsequent runs, finishing in the money last start over 1½f at Retama Park (Dirt). Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought.
