GREAT BARRIER (14) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1/2f at this track. Has the class to figure prominently. PEARSE (10) was last at the races when he finished seventh over 1m at this track (Dirt) on May 5. Rates highly and should take some beating. KERAUNOS (12) resumes from a lay-off of 13 months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 7½f at this track (Turf). Strong winning chance on best figures. SLEW SKIES (4) returned from a lay-off five weeks ago when he was beaten 8 lengths into sixth over 6½f at this track. Strips fitter and can turn things around.
