CURLIN'S MAGIC (3) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6½f at this track, an improvement on her when resuming seventh at this track the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. EQUUS (2) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when tenth over 7½f at this track, beaten 17 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BLUE HEAVENLY (5) has put together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on June 9 over 6½f when she got home by 1.75 lengths. Winning rider Leandro Goncalves retains the mount. Tackling an easier race so she is a major player. HONOR CAT (9) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten 5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
