MARQUEE LADY (11) finished one length from the winner in second on debut last start over 6f at Will Rogers Downs (Dirt). Has plenty of upside so she should pay to follow. LADY ATHENA (9) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fifth over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. WEC KEAH (6) resumes from a lay-off of nine weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5f at Sam Houston Park (Turf). Strong winning chance on best figures. ROYAL LIAISON (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
