SHELL SHOCK (9) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Likely to be there at the finish again. SIMPLE PLEASURE (5) raced on pace for much of the way before fading in the straight to finish fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m here last time. Expected to be in this for a long way. BASKET CASE (2) was a turf winner over 1m1f at Sam Houston Park in a but couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing sixth over 1m at this track. Sure to be thereabouts and can find best form again here. PUT A BOW ON IT (4) finished third at Sam Houston Park two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing 9 lengths back in seventh. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
