POSEIDONS WAVE (4) ran below expectations last time at Sam Houston Park (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths starting at 9/4. Has the talent to take care of this field. RED DRAW (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 7 lengths when eighth over 1m at Sam Houston Park two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is set to turn things around. VALDINA DREAMS (2) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 5½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Nicely placed to bounce back. RICHARD'S TX BLING (6) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
