DOC'S BUD (2) could only manage ninth when resuming at Sam Houston Park two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at Sam Houston Park, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. CREAM PUFF REAPER (1) is a 10-start maiden who looks close to breaking the duck after finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs, most recently when 4 lengths away in second over 6f at Sam Houston Park. Hard to beat. HIGH CALIBER CATCH (4) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing third over 6f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt) when she was prominent throughout. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SARAH P (7) did little and finished 16 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6½f at Delta Downs last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth on debut at Delta Downs the run before. Has the ability to figure prominently.
