PER CAPITA (7) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 6¾f at Doomben. Won't find this as tough so he can bounce back. WEST CORK (4) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest eighth at Sunshine Coast over 7f. Open to improvement and is among the chances. FAT FINGERS (14) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Beaudesert, finishing fourth and only 0.7 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f when she made late ground. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GREGARIOUS (3) is a distance specialist who improved sharply last time out to score by a long neck over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly three weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
