IDEEL HERO (1) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1m3f at Grafton. Likely improver with strong prospects. THE KHAN (4) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 6 lengths at Gold Coast Poly over 7f152yards. The engagement of Michael Cahill is noteworthy. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. RHODES (6) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m2f at Doomben last start after being in the firing line on the bend, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Doomben the run before. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. ROTHESAY'S RUBY (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m3/4f at Grafton, beaten just a head. Another forward showing is anticipated.
