An interesting G2 contest featuring a rematch between two promising colts DELACROIX (2) and GREEN IMPACT (3). The first mentioned is trained by Aidan O'Brien' and looked in need of the experience when second on debut over course and distance finishing behind the latter who already had the benefit of a run. He duly got off the mark beating a subsequent winner over 7f at the Curragh second up and with progress expected now back up to 1m may reverse form while the other noted remains a juvenile with considerable potential and will not go down without a fight. It would be foolish to ignore the claims of the wide-margin Dundalk winning BERNARD SHAW (1). GREEN TRIANGLE (4) looks the least likely chance of the four.
