KICK A GOAL SON (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Kalgoorlie, beaten 2.5 lengths into seventh after being in contention on the corner. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. SMOKEY MOUNTAIN (4) was a 1.3 lengths winner when tackling dirt for the first time last start at Leonora over 6f. Hard to fault and sure to be thereabouts again. MAGIC OF ZEUS (3) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Mt Magnet over 1m1f. Top-three chance on best figures. HERITAGE SASH (2) was below his best last time, finishing 11th and beaten 17 lengths over 7f at Geraldton. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
