This new recruit to the George Boughey stable showed plenty of ability in three outings as a juvenile last summer and could prove well-treated off this opening mark now stepping up to 6f for the first time. The consistent CONNIE'S ROSE (1) commands respect racing off 2lb lower than when third at Chepstow (6f) last start. Others to note include CANARIA QUEEN (3) who also finished third racing at Ripon last-time-out and handicap newcomer MILITARY QUEEN (7).
