DERBYNESS (3) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in the firing line on the turn before winding up in second over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. ALVY (8) was far from disgraced when fourth last start over 7f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at Charles Town the start prior. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. JARDANI (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 1m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be taken lightly. WHISKEYINTHEJARO (6) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 1m at this track (Turf). Should prove tough to hold out.
