DARING VENTURE (5) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing one length from the winner in second over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Can get off the mark this time. DERZ SMART (9) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 7f at this track (Dirt) in a tougher race. Breaks from a wide draw but he shouldn't be a maiden for long. SMUGGLER'S GOLD (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 5f at Delaware Park, beaten only 0.2 lengths. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. DATS TAP (4) ran below expectations last start, finishing tenth and beaten 17 lengths at this track (Turf) over 1m1/2f. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
