SUGA STEVE (4) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 9 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 7f. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Finds a suitable assignment and can make amends. JOHN HALL (3) improved last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to take this out. MAGIC SPIN (7) is rarely out of the frame on dirt but finished 11 lengths away in fourth over 6f at this track in a. Again missed the placings but on turf most recently when fourth at Penn National over 5f. Right at home over this distance, with eight wins and six minor placings from 21 runs and has to be included. GROUP HUG (1) improved last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
