LA BEFANA (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 5½f at this track (Turf) after being prominent from the outset. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. MAGNOLIA WIND (4) returned from a lay-off five weeks ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into ninth over 5½f at Saratoga. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. WHITE HEAT (6) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3 lengths when seventh over 5½f at this track (Turf). Fitter and with blinkers applied she makes plenty of appeal. Set Weights EET SUMMER LOVE (11) is third up. . Turned in a better run last time when second, beaten 1.3 lengths, at Delaware Park (Turf) over 5f. Among the better chances.
