STELLARS IN CHARGE (3) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Can get off the mark this time. BUCKIN' DREAMER (4) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten only 0.3 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. WITHOUT PRETENCE (5) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and is having his outing under new trainer Lacey Gaudet. Finished fifth at this track (Turf) over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Comes here with definite top-three claims. SQUARE SLICE (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 22 lengths away in seventh over 7f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
