IBERIAN LYNX (2) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5¾f at Geelong. Going well enough to take this out. BOYD (14) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Murtoa, beaten 4. 5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. PRINCE OF BROOKY (3) was prominent on straightening and stuck on well to finish third last start over 5¾f at Geelong, beaten 1. 2 lengths when resuming. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. TSAVO (12) is returning from a lay-off of four months. Finished fifth at Gosford over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Michael Jones. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Bendigo.
