THANK GOD I GOTHIM (1) is poised to win after placing at his last five outings, most recently when second over 6½f at Darwin when he was prominent throughout. Finds the right race this time and can take the next step and salute. VALAROC (3) has switched yards since finishing fourth a week-and-a-half ago over 5½f at Broome. One of the better hopes. LEAN ON ME (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 6½f at Darwin, beaten 8 lengths into ninth. Worth noting Paul Denton goes aboard. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. DANCER FOR MONEY (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Darwin, beaten 13 lengths into 11th. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
