SHUBAEL (7) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish seventh last time out over 6½f at Bendigo following a minor placing at Geelong over 6f27yards the run prior. Won't get too many better chances to open her account. CHAPARRO (9) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Big chance based on that effort. RUSSIAN ESCAPE (2) finished third last time over 6½f at Bendigo when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.5 lengths. Has the ability to find the winners' list. TRIELLE (8) settled back on debut last time out and battled on evenly to finish fourth over 6f at Warrnambool. Can figure in the finish.
