LITTLE SPARK (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 5f at Toowoomba. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SURCOTE (2) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 1.3 lengths back in third over 5½f at Beaudesert. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GRANDEUR ROSE (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Sunshine Coast, finishing second and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f after being in the firing line on the turn. Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. ANCIENT MISSION (8) finished fourth over 7f at Ballina at her most recent appearance on June 12. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
