RATTLESNAKE (7) has not appeared since he finished fourth over 6¼f at Durbanville on August 1. Should be hard to stop. ALL ABOUT AL (11) registered a strong win at Durbanville two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when second over 5f at Durbanville, beaten a head. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SHIFTING PATH (2) started at 11/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 1.75 lengths at Durbanville over 5f. Nicely placed to make amends. BARNEY MCGREW (8) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth over 5f at Durbanville. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Can feature in the finish.
