STEINBECK (3) was prominent from the outset when second over 7f at this track last time out. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. MONT LOISIR (6) met with solid support last start over 7f at this track when fourth, beaten 4 lengths. Has a win and two minor placings from four starts at this track and distance. Should be competitive. RADICCHIO (4) produced a better run last start, beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth over 1m at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
