Group 2 winner ZAPATILLAS (1) returns after a lay-off of ten months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m at Greyville. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. SUGAR MOUNTAIN (8) is back from a lay-off of 11 weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 7f at Durbanville. Solid chance. Multiple Group 3 placegetter PORT LOUIS (11) fought on for second last start over 7f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. Multiple Group 3 placegetter FUTURE PRINCE (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 4 lengths away in seventh over 1m1f at this track. Capable of featuring prominently.
