MARKWELL DREAMER (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing tenth over 5f at Taree. Can improve sharply. DEBUSSY (15) is back at the races for the first time since March 21. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 4½f at Newcastle. Has a solid when resuming record of two wins and two placings from six starts. Comes here with definite claims. SIGHTSEER (9) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fourth over 4½f at Wellington. Should be peaking now and is sure to be about the mark. POLYLITHIC (2) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third over 4½f at Newcastle. Likely improver so plenty to like about his chances.
