TACT (4) met with strong support when he resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Newcastle and was only beaten 0.9 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. NANYEHI (8) has not raced since her debut back on October 12 when she finished sixth over 7½f at this track. Will be better for that run. Leading contender. BANXI (1) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 7¾f at Canterbury. Has trialled two times leading into this. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. ELIVINA (5) is a Saxon Warrior filly who was an AUD $ 170,000 (Magic Millions 2023 Adelaide Yearling Sale) purchase. Looks ready after placing in a recent Kembla Grange trial. Worth consideration.
